Pewsey Community Area Partnership support the Raizer Lifting Chair Campaign
The South Western Ambulance Charity and the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) would like to thank the Pewsey Community Area Partnership for their significant donation of £5,590 to fund the purchase of two Raizer Lifting Chairs for Community First Responder groups covering Pewsey Vale and the surrounding area.
Grateful thanks also go to the Wiltshire Council Pewset Area Board Health & Well-Being Fund, The Friends of Savernake Hospital and the local Parish Councils for their generous contributions.
Equipping a Community First Responder with an emergency lifting chair will enable early assistance to a patient who has experienced a non-injury fall, and reduce potential complications associated with long lies. This also helps ensure the most appropriate allocation of emergency services resources.
The South Western Ambulance Charity are fundraising to provide Raizer Lifting chairs to our Community First Responder groups within the South West. This generous gift is helping us to reach our goal and enable us to go the extra mile for the communities we serve.
