Cornwall and Devon kick off charity football season
One beautiful sunny day in Saltash, Cornwall, the first charity football match was held to raise funds for the South Western Ambulance Charity: Cornwall v South/West Devon.
When the whistle blew at the end of an action-packed and passionate match, with both teams battling hard in warm conditions, Cornwall won 2-1.
Special thanks goes out to:
-
Keila Klein (Paramedic - Derriford) who took over 700 photos!;
-
Jodie Stevenson (Student Paramedic from Plymouth University) who made delicious cupcakes, with money raised from sales going to the charity;
-
The Devon Football Association for providing a referee and lineman for the game;
and lastly and importantly a big thank you to everyone who gave up their time, donated raffle prizes and raised an amazing £367 for the South Western Ambulance Charity!
